Shelf talker or shelf tag: the same sign
A shelf talker and a shelf tag are both a small sign fixed to a shelf edge or the shelf itself. Its job is to stop a shopper and say one thing: this is the price, this is on offer, this is new. Stores use both words, and in India you will also hear price board or offer board.
In Flyerworks both come from the same shelf tag editor. Some designs are plain price tags. Others are bold offer tags with a headline, a struck-through MRP and a save badge. You can see nine of them, with notes on what each one does right.
What you can make

When to use one
- A new product. Tell shoppers it is in.
- A time-limited offer. Say what it costs and when it ends.
- A gift or bundle. Put the set price where people pick up the items.
- An endcap. Use A4 so it reads from a distance.
Keep it to one message. A sign with three offers on it gets read as none.

You print the sign and fix it to the shelf with tape, in a holder or on a card.

What Flyerworks does not do
- It does not make die-cut talkers that stick out from the shelf. To get that shape, print the tag and mount it on a card or in a clip.
- The download is a PNG. It is one sign per download.
- It works best on a computer, and a phone browser gives you fewer features.
