A price tag customers can read
The tags that work best are simple: a clear product name, a big price and, when there is a saving, the MRP crossed out next to it. That is what you can build here.
Before you print any price tag, check four things:
- The price is the largest thing on the tag.
- If you show an MRP, it matches the pack.
- The offer badge says one thing, not three.
- It can be read from the distance a customer stands at.
The MRP rule, in plain terms
In India a packaged product can't be sold for more than its printed MRP. Rule 18(2) of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 2011 says so. You can sell for less, which is why the strike-through works: the MRP is the anchor and your price is the saving.
A tag that shows a price above the MRP breaks the rule, so when you change prices for a festival, update the tag as well as the shelf. This is general information, not legal advice. Rules on labelling and loose goods differ by state, so ask your local Legal Metrology office about anything unclear.

Price tags come from the same editor as shelf tags, so the same limits apply.
Shelf tags are a paid feature. On the Free plan you can open the editor and see a watermarked preview. Starter includes 5 shelf tags a month, and Pro and Business are unlimited. You can try the shelf tag editor free before you choose a plan.
What it does not do
It makes one tag per download, as a PNG. It is not a bulk label printer. If you need hundreds of identical labels from a spreadsheet, a dedicated label tool will do that faster. What Flyerworks does well is a good-looking tag for a specific product or offer, in a minute.
